                 Happy Holidays

from Norah and J.P.

Now, the REAL reason for this page is to give status and thanks that:

1. No one is currently in a hospital - mental of otherwise.

2. Our grandchildren are all smart, interesting and almost as lovely as yours...

Valerie and Adam Collins  Danya and Tessa Volkov

3. Most all of our progeny are pretty happy, adjusted, and employed in some useful endeavor.

4. Considering our less than salubrious lifestyles, Norah and I are in decent health  (thanks  largely to  modern pharmacy - High Blood Pressure medication, Prednizone, Depacote, among others. (Thank heavens for Canadian drug companies)

5. Of other possible interest:

  • Allison and Bob Waxler visitied us from Culver City this fall. (Connecticut reminded Allison of a "horror movie setting"); we loved having them.
  • Made our quasi-annual trek to Maine, Campobello, and then continued on to Nova Scotia and Newfoundland. Norah gave an excellent presentation to out UU Fellowship/ethical society on 'Vikings in North America'.
  • Tessa, Danya and Kalila visited us here in New England ....during our hottest spell of the year. Great Time.
  • Visited Family in KY (sus & Mike Nichols, Alan Claypool, cousins Ann Sullivan & Lenore, Norma, Milly & Tommy, Bryan & Jeanie & family, and Butch & Mary Jo & family) Also visited with old friends Bob & Shirley Wahl.
  • Our Lexington visit for JP's UK Delt reunion was classy & delightful. It's great seeing good friends again.
  • Norah is now fully retired and enjoying the 'good life'. JP continues to be quite busy with his Fensterweb web design business with many new jobs.

Norah fixed up our guest bedroom this year.....not! (In Newfoundland at Viking site)
With son Scott on his birthday - JP:did you fall off the age cliff?

Happiness, good health and the sincere hope that you stay in touch! ...even if by e-mail ( use [email protected] and/or [email protected]) . Happy holidays to you all!

                Love

                Norah & J.P.
